BBC iplayer is take catch up tv to a whole new level. I am gutted when i miss my favourite tv shows, but now 24/7 you can watch them online! It's great, however if you do want to watch something, it does expire in a certain number of days, usually around 30. It means that you can go out, and not bother about missing tv, because you can just watch it when you get in! However this may be a problem if you don't own a computer or laptop, but if this is the case then get one! Although now i believe that some certain tv packages get it on their tv, however i'm not certain. I don't, howver i only have freeview. Iplayer is great, it has all the programmes on it and if its slow then you can download it. It's very easy to fast forward or rewind and can be viewed in full screen mode.

Summary: it means you can catch up on all your fav tv programmes
