Advantages: playstation on PC
Disadvantages: small glitches in graphics
Bleem is a playstation emulator that would be legal, if it protected against pirated playstation CDS.....it doesnt! Aside from this, there are some real advantages to playing Bleem instead of your playstation. if you have a high powered graphics card and processor, games actually look better on your PC. For example, Resident Evil 3 looked amazing on my PC - the graphics were sharp and anti-aliased, whilst on the playstation they looked blocky and well...pitiful! There is a good control configuration, and a lot of options to keep advanced users happy! Sometimes, the 3D graphics enhancement should be turned off though - on 2D games (ed Street fighter alpha 3) cracks in the graphics appear. This is an error in Bleem's rendering system... I hope it gets fixed!! Bleem has been fairly stable in my experience, only crashing at very rare occasions. It plays games that aren't listed on the supported list usually, so you can be almost immediately sure that the game will work! Save games can be downloaded all over the internet, so you can get powerups/levels in the games that you'd never be able to do when playing on the Playstation! Bleem, like other emulators, shuold not be used to substitute the real experience... The playstation is a fine console, even if it is a bit outdated now!
