I have been programming in Java for a while now, and I have gotten used to the command prompt method to compile each and every one of my Java modules. But after a while, I found it quite labourious to use the command screen to compile my Java programs and applets and then run them using the same old DOS. Then I installed JBuilder. It took me a while to figure it out, but once I got it working, I thought quite surprised with it. It is absolutely brilliant. It takes away all the labourious task to compile each and every java files using javac command at a command prompt. I have started using Borland JBuilder since last October. If comparing with Visual J++, I prefer Borland JBuilder. The main reason is there are not too many buttons in JBuilder if comparing to Visual J++. I have once used Visual J++. I feel annoyed because there are too many buttons. JBuilder is really a complexity made simple. Just like the other opinion said. I like it really because of this reason. However there is one drawback of this suite. It is very slow when doing compilation and running of programs or codes. It consumed a huge portions of the CPU and RAM. I do hope that it can be modified and improved. ...  Read the complete review
