ClipTray is a small free handy utility which enables you to quickly store snippets of information for browsing later.

After installing this wee util - which I believe to be one of the best ever free utils, - On bootup, ClipTray sits in your System Tray, and, when required, will paste the text contents of your clipboard to a html or plain text file,together with the date and time, by right clicking on the wee icon and selecting "save clip"

You can view the contents of the file later, by selecting 'View Clip' or 'View HTML' from ClipTray's context menu.

Whenever you come across an interesting piece of text, or a web address, or want to save a password etc - that you would like to save for reading later, simply select it,
copy it to the clipboard (You can use Ctrl-C )to save and then - click on ClipTray.

ClipTray has proved to be a valuable FREE asset to me as I can carry the clipsave.txt textfile with me and refer to the saved text from a floppy disk.

To get and use Cliptray, simply download the zip file from

Unzip the contents of this zip file into a temporary folder.

Run the SETUP.EXE program. This will create a new folder named C:\Cliptray and install Cliptray, so that it runs automatically when you boot up.

This Archive is freeware and may be freely distributed provided all files contained within the archive are distributed together.

I personally would not ever want to be without this great wee free program, and I suspect that, having used it, you would agree.
