Advantages: Easy to use, Its free, some handy utilities included

I came across a superb little freeware program called “Coffee Cup, Free Viewer Plus”, which was a freebie on a magazine CD, so I installed it to take a look, and was mightily impressed with this program.
What exactly is Free Viewer Plus?

Free viewer plus is a simple Picture viewer, which is VERY simple to use, but with some superb utilities with it, the main one being the Html page builder (I will go into more detail about this further down the opinion).
Anyway, back onto the Picture Viewer itself, as I have said, it is very easy to use, there are actually two separate programs included in the package, there’s the “Quick Viewer” and then the “Image Viewer plus”.
Quick Viewer: This is the simpler of the two and allows you to browse through a whole directory full of pictures at a breeze, with lots of keyboard shortcuts and clearly made out icons.

Folders: Open file, this will allow you to open the first picture in any directory. Keyboard shortcut = O.
Disk: Save file to disk. Keyboard shortcut = Ctrl S
Hands pointing left: Load previous picture. Keyboard shortcut = Left cursor/arrow key.
Hands pointing right: Load next picture. Keyboard shortcut = Right cursor/arrow key.
Email Image: This enables you to send the current picture you are looking at to anyone via E-mail, without having to launch you E-Mail program. Keyboard shortcut = E.
Rocket Image: Ftp the picture, this basically means you can upload the picture to any Ftp site i.e. your own web page site, without having to launch any separate Ftp programs. Keyboard shortcut F
Zip Image: This enables you to zip any picture/pictures up into a smaller file, also without having to launch any separate programs. Keyboard shortcut = Z.
Scissors Image: This will enable you to slice up an image, which would enable
you to have separate links to a certain part of the picture, useful when using it on a web page and also allows you to make them jigsaw/picture puzzles.
Red Cross Image: Launch Image Viewer Plus. Keyboard shortcut key = P.
There are keyboard shortcuts for many various actions and this makes the program absolutely simple to use, especially for any newcomer to the computer game, as some of the art packages and picture viewers can be pretty daunting for them, don’t get me wrong, I don’t reckon this is any use just for newcomers, far from it, I am sure the most experienced computer user would benefit from the pure simplicity and usefulness of this program.
Image viewer Plus:

This is the more useful, but just as easy to use of the two programs, it has all the same easy to use buttons and shortcut keys, but it has some excellent added utilities, the best being the “Html page builder”, what this consists of. Is the ability to go into a large directory of pictures, then alls you have to do is, click on the Html generator link, and it will build you a page or pages (depending on the amount of pictures you want to use/ put on each page), the result being, a ready made Html document, which will now consists of thumbnails (smaller pictures that you click on to load the larger picture) of all the selected pictures, its ever so simple and a superb utility for any web page builder.
It also allows you to easily select a picture and change it into your computers wallpaper, amongst other things.
The program is totally free and can be found at http://coffeecup.com/software/ there are lots of other superb and freeware products on this page, things like FTP programs, Html Editors, etc. I strongly recommend this program, purely on its ease of use and the superb and simple to use added extras.
