Advantages: Cheap, Good interface, Good renders

Disadvantages: I found hard to create the land forms I wanted

Bryce is if you did not know a 3D landscape designer which can also model at a squeeze. At first glance the interface is breathtaking with tiny 3D rendered icons. I found it quite difficult to create the landforms I wanted but is totally achievable with practice. Personally I tend to use Bryce for generating 3D icons for the Web, exporting them to photoshop and then dreamweaver.

The program gives you control over lighting, mist, shadows etc and is perfect for my limited use. But I have seen results which will make your jaw drop. I recomend it to beginners through to intermediates, experts will need plug-ins fo 3D Studio Max, but this is so cheap for what it does and the results are amazing
