The user interface is relatively friendly. Althought one might say that the modelling interface is very poor. In fact, you cannot execute any boolean operations with it. So if you need to create complicated 3D models, you really need to use a modelling program such as Autocad, or solidedge and import the file into Cosmosm. Cosmos is one of the best PC based Finite Element Program. Its direct competitor is ADINA. Cosmosm can perform multiphysics problems (Structural, Heat Transfer, CFD, Electromagnetism, etc..). Cosmosm is a very good Finite Element Program for first time users.
