The best of the best DVD players available for your computer. This may seem a bit excessive for what is essentially something that lets you play a DVD now and then but it does it so well. Where other player are bulky and cumbersome power DVD is simplistic and easy to use. The small control panel hides itself while the film is playing and is easily brought up by the click of the mouse anywhere on the screen.

During playback you can check the progress of the film by simply moving the mouse to the top of the screen. This brings down a slider showing your position.

If you want to skip forwards or backwards, there is no need to open the panel and click buttons. You can simply scroll the mouse wheel up and down to increase the speed in powers of two from -32x to +32x. When you have found the desired place simply roll the wheel one place back and normal playback is resumed.

Chapters can be skipped using keyboard short cuts or with the right click of the mouse which also allows you to move to disk menus and settings.

A very easy to use program that makes watching films easy.
