PagePlus 8 ... is probably the most famous product from Serif, although you wouldn't be alone if you've never heard of it. It's sold over a million copies, but is almost certainly less used than it's more famous, yet less powerful rival, Microsoft Publisher. In terms of professional features, PagePlus undisputedly tramples Publisher. And don't just take my word for it, many magazine reviews will back this up (some of these are on Serif's website at http://www.serif.com/company/reviews/index.asp#pp ). iPhoto2 ... upon a time, we snapped on our Kodak Box Brownies, took the film into Boots to be developed and bought a photo album in which to keep our treasured memories. Well. apart from the actual box-brownie, we can still do that. BUT WHY? I have lost many of my treasured pics through water and sun damage, and in some cases, simply old age ( + clumsiness and ineptitude). But I don't have to. Never again. The digital age has arrived and with it, an immediacy, which enables me to cut out that visit to Boots, and the need to purchase a photo album. CorelDraw 9 Graphics Suite in general ... got this for a bargain price of £18 why because it was from a friend who I personally think is hooked on Graphics software, being a Graphics student he?s always updating regardless of how fast they come out, and with version 10 out very quickly, I got myself a true bargain which I am very pleased with. It is very easy to install, just follow the wizard and it will be installed within minutes. It has a good manual book if you require help, they even have UK based phone number which you can ring if you have trouble, but I doubt you will have any problems.
