DigiGuideNewest Review: ... can you expect from the listings? Well, most listings are rated by the team at DigiGuide, so you can expect a certain amount of reliability in what they have to say. There's also a good description and the ability to find other programs of a similar name or genre! But really, the listing information isn't why this software is so successful... that's down to its features. Namely the alert ... more |

The DigiGuide application for Windows is a fantastic piece of software. At first as you get used to it, you'll spend a lot of time learning the basics and brushing over how exactly the application works; learning how to use alerts effectively, marking all your favourite programs and getting to know the highlighter wizard... but this doesn't take long, it's very simple, even for a technophobes. It's based on a huge database that is constantly updated over the web with the upcoming weeks TV listings. You can guarantee access to 14 days worth of TV, but many times, series of programs are uploaded and you have much more than just the standard 2 ... Read the complete review

DigiGuide is a very useful software application that provides an up-to-date listing of what's on TV conviniently on your computer. It appears to have listings for every UK digital terrestrial channel and probably all of the Sky and Sky digital ones as well (I can't confirm that - no Sky!). The listings are updated very frequently, and I've never seen it be wrong yet. The user interface for the DigiGuide application is fairly simple to use. My personal preference is the Grid view, which shows a list of channels down the left, and the programs that are on scrolling to the right. The channel list can be customised - either by hand, or by simply ... Read the complete review

Hmm, Tuesday night. What's on TV? Time to pop on my PC & find out!! Digiguide is a downloadable program that costs £5 or £6 pounds a year (however check as they may still have the free trial at the time you read this). Much cheaper then buying the radio times. However is it worth it. - YES!! What do you get? An application that allows you to pick the TV channels you want to display for a start. You can go to your TV provider list and select the packages, or just pick the channels you want. It's also handy as it gives your TV providers channel number, so if I find out that a film is just about to start there is no "aghh quick, what number ... Read the complete review

DigiGuide is one of those programs that at first sight doesn't seem to be too handy until you get around to using it, and once you've installed it and tried it out, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. So, what exactly is DigiGuide? The best way to describe DigiGuide is an interactive TV listings program for your PC. For those of you with Sky Digital, it works in a similar manner to Sky's interactive TV EPG. It provides listings on the channels you want, and can also offer further information on many programmes. How does it work? You must first download the DigiGuide software from the website ... Read the complete review
