Advantages: Easy set up, Inexpensive, Good instructions

Disadvantages: Prefers BBC English

Having suffered from RSI for several months I decided to buy this program for home use after reading good reviews. It was easy to install and although first results were hilariously surreal -- I'm planning to enter them in a modern poetry contest -- once I had persevered with required training I was soon getting recognisable English on-screen. I was able to use programs such as Lotus smart suite and start my ISP completely hands-free. It's not perfect and you need to practise to increase speed of regognition. Initially it was thrown by my Devon accent, and it likes to interpret breaths or sneezes which the supplied headset picks up as conjunctions. Even so I found it a bargain compared with hiring a typist to write my emails!

I had something similar it took hours to do the voice thing at the beginning, speaking out the speech things they give you to read - I ended up never using it. Welcome to the site! Fishbulb >><>?™
