Advantages: It's not Micro$oft, AOL or ICQ

Disadvantages: Nobody to talk to...

The main problem with Excite PAL (apart from the sad name) is that, as you can probably tell from the lack of reviews, nobody uses it. That's not really very good if you want to talk to people.
The software itself is rather good and I'd rather use it than ICQ or AIM, but unfortunately I have MSN Messenger, which is much better than all of the rest.
I really wish I liked this, because for some reason I've developed some sort of fondness for excite, but I'm afraid this product just doesn't cut it.
