ExPressit comes bundled with the Pressit labeller (see elsewhere for my review of this natty device). I have to confess that I hardly use it, it is far too elaborate for my purposes but if you want to produce really arty CD labels with swirly pictures and so on, then this is a very good means of doing so. Instead, I use the Word template that comes in the package (there are several for different programmes such as Photoshop, Corel Draw etc) and produce fairly basic text-only labels. I got exPressIT free with Nero 5, and have found to be very useful and reliable, and most importantly accurate. Its accuracy is due to the fact that it runs a printer calibration test, so that you can line up the respective parts of the page accordingly, thus avoid wonky printing, which negates the advantage of the label printing system. The desing process is very easy, you simply select an area in which you wish you insert a fill pattern, a photo or text and insert away. There is a preview function which shows you what the labels will look like once they are printed, and then you are ready to print.
