Frost wire is a fantastic software of you want to get free music onto your ipod or other music playing devises. I have used frost wire for around to years and have only had one problem, that being because i downloaded a zipped folder which you should NEVER do and i ended up getting a virus on my PC which was easily removed thanks to my laptops security, so if you are thinking of getting frostwire or in fact any software never ever download a zipped folder as they may harm you personal computer. Frostwire has also got lots of good chat-rooms were you can meet new people and exchange music and videos. There is also a large amount of adult videos on frostwire ... Read the complete review

Frostwire I have been using Frostwire over the past year or so and it's been one of the best peer to peer sharing programmes that I have used. I have previously used Limewire which seemed to be full of viruses and bugs. However whilst frostwire is not completely bug free is seems to be on the whole a much better and safer programme to use. What is Frostwire? Frostwire is a peer to peer sharing programme. The programme itself is open source meaning it's free to download and once installed on the computer the user can then share and search for audio, video, pictures or software that they are looking for. It uses the Gnutella and Bit torrent ... Read the complete review

FrostWire is a P2P, or peer-to-peer- file sharing application released for the personal computer in 2005. FrostWire is used to access the "Gnutella" network of files which is widely regarded as the largest network of file sharing users currently online, having an estimated user share of 40%. FrostWire also supports the BitTorrent protocol for the "leeching" and "seeding", or downloading and uploading respectively, of files. FrostWire is capable of searching and downloading audio, images, video, documents and programs. As the name may imply, "FrostWire" is a clone of the popular "LimeWire" file sharing client but is ... Frostwire is a new p2p (peer-to-peer) filesharing appllication build from the Limewire source code. The program has been given more changes and improvements than most other Limewire clones though and it has a much nicer cleaner look and a pleasant ice blue colour. It is also the equivalent of Limewire Pro as it has the turbo connection speed feature by connecting to one (or two, I'm not sure) extra ultra peers. Frostwire also seems to filter out much more of the junk than the original Limewire does. There are a lot of dangerous viruses on p2p networks and Limewire doesn't seem to be able to filter most of them out. However, Frostwire does it quite well ... Read the complete review

Hmm well if you are already a LimeWire there is virtually no point of you downloading this program but if you are using an ISP (Internet Service Providers) with content control and you are unable to download LimeWire, then this is a good alternative as FrostWire is yet somewhat unknown to most ISP's. Unfortunatly it is almost the same as LimeWire, the layout, settings and the idea of the program is the same (some of the settings include the name LimeWire e.g. Do you wish LimeWire to save MP3s?, which is quite funny). The good thing about FrostWire is that this is like the full version of LimeWire, and yet still free. But be warned peer 2 peer is unsafe to your ... Read the complete review
