Limewire ... Limewire is very quick and easy to install from the official website limewire.com. There is a free version which i use, and there s a limewire pro version which is $21.95. I chose the free version because i didn t really know much about limewire when i first downloaded it but it was reccomended to me. You can download many different types of files including, movies, music, football clips, commercial clips etc. There is a huge selection of files to download on there and they are easy to download, you can download many files at the same time. Limewire ... is a great tool for finding all the obscure and popular songs you could want, note you should only download songs that you already own in another format such as cd otherwise it is copyrigth infringement :). However you will also find every virus under the sun so i would reccomend you stick to only songs as programs are often viruses. Oh and also make sure your file has a audio extension such as mp3 its pretty easy to name a virus Britney Spears. So now you know to be careful whats this limewire all about and how does it work i hear you ask. Getright ... WHAT? GetRight is a piece of software classed as a download manager. "What s a download manager?" some of you are probably thinking! It s a small program that manages your downloads by adding them to a queue and downloading them one or several at a time. When there are many files to be downloaded, it is not good to start the downloads all at the same time as the bandwidth is distributed between the files to be downloaded so each file would download slower and be more prone to stalling and timing out.
