Advantages: Takes up very little space

Disadvantages: Slow and has some limitations

I have owned a Bush internet.tv system since Christmas 2000, and have found it to be very useful and entertaining. I was given the system as a present and prior to this had very little dealings with computers or internet services.

The system itself consists of a compact set top box (dimentions approx 8x7x2 inches) which connects to your television by means of a scart lead, a telephone connection lead and a remote keyboard, thats's it! The system is very simple to set up and operate providing hours of fun, until you get the hang of the internet that is!

After a while you begin to realise the limitations of the system, it is very slow in loading the information that you have requested, which is okay at first but becomes more and more annoying every day. you cannot recieve pages which involve animation, sounds, movies anything with java script, and operating the keyboard is quite difficult as the keys themselves are very small!

These are of course not the only problems that I have encountered and are by know means the most annoying, the winner in this category is when typing an opinion on dooyoo the system times out, you are still able to finish your opinion but when you come to doo it the system has to reconnect to the internet, which quite often results in the script being lost, this is in fact my second attempt at this opinion, with the record so far being four!! You soon learn to control your temper, perseveirance is that watchword here!

That's enough of the negative things, the Bush system is excellent for anyone who has limited space, is just starting or who does not have alot of cash to spend on a more elaborate set up! You can purchase the system itself for around £79.99 and a larger keyboard is available for £29.99, and it is printer friendly.

I will keep with the Bush for a while but will definately be moving on to bigger and better things in the future!
