I have been using windows media player 6 for years and never had any bother with it. It was the everything I wanted in a media playing device. Of course I then started wanting to steam videos from certain sites because it was the only way to see certain content. This was not possible as all movies now use WMP9 or Real player G2. So I decided it ... Read the complete review

So, what is iTunes? iTunes is a fine program made by those brilliant people at Apple. It is designed to play MP3's, WAV's and AIFF files. It organizes all your MP3 files in to a library, and allows you to create playlists. It also allows you to 'rip' MP3's from CD, and also 'convert' MP3's from WAV's ... Read the complete review

Well, as you all read from Mr Whitei's Post DivX ;-) movies are the latest thing. Although one question which should be brought up is the legality of such a format. What is DivX ;-)??? DivX is a new way to encode movies. Currently DVDs are encoded in the Mpeg2 standard and they're size is very big, i.e. for a typical ... Read the complete review

Well im surprised that this hasnt been mentioned so far. But then I relised that when MP3's first came out not many people knew about them either. OK we all know what a dvd is. Its a disk the size of a cd-rom but can hold about 4000MB compared to the standard 650MB. DVDs are commonly used to hold movies on them with very high quality. The ... Read the complete review

This Program is the biggest waste of 4Mb I have ever seen. This Program can do nothing tha Winamp can do. It also has adverts, there is nothing worse than flashing gif at the bottom of your screen using up bandwith downloading more adverts. This program also installs spyware. Spy ware tells Radiate where you are and what you are clicking on etc. ... Read the complete review

Whilst I'm quite impressed with Real Player and Real Jukebox I'd be interested to know if anyone out there is suffering the same problems that I've been experiencing when trying to use Real Producer to record and send my band's music to G2 site to 'stream' over the net.The whole process can be quite laborious and take up to ... MP3 has been creating a storm in the music industry. Due to the ability of MP3 to compress music files to 10% of its normal size without loss of quality, it makes music easy to download over the net. Of course this has allowed music piracy to develop at an astonishing rate. Often you can get the latest artist songs before its officially released ... Read the complete review

There seems to be a large number of Media Players on the market today, with a large majority being free – such as Windows Media Player, Winamp and Real Player Jukebox. Most of the Media Players, do, admittedly, only play media files – as they jolly well should. However, it seems to me that in order to survive in today’s market ... Read the complete review

I am writing my opinions on the pros and cons of mp3's. Should they be legal or illegal?? If they are legal, then honestly how many of you are going to pop down to virgin or whereever and BUY cd's? This will allmost certainly damage the british music scene. i have downloaded many new songs from the internet. Only a few ... Read the complete review

The two pieces of software are very similar. They both attempt to be the one and only media player used for MP3s video files and all the rest. Jukebox is owever not free. Itis a shreware product which you must register. Aso though Jukebox does have the feature for downloading MPs to an MP3 player unlike Media Player which will only download to a ...
