Google chrome is the newest of the main web browsers, and is my current favourite. The first striking feature is how little screen space the bars at the top take up, which leaves you with a huge amount of actual internet room. This was most apparent on my eee pc netbook. On a 9 inch screen, those extra cm are really noticeable. Another nice feature is that when something does go wrong, only one tab crashes, not the entire browser. This most of the time isn't a big issue, but sometimes can save lots of time spent looking for lost websites. I haven't done proper speed tests, but from general use think google chrome is a fast and reliable ... Read the complete review

Chrome is my favourite web-browser of all time. It's fast, simple, functional and good to look at- what more do you need in a web browser? With the introduction of new skins it looks even more special and personalised when you add appearances such as brushed metal to it, although i still use the original skin to utilise the see-through windows feature of windows 7. It works brilliantly, and it seems to be noticeably faster than other browsers such as Safari and very much faster than Internet Explorer. The download and installation of chrome was supremely fast and easy and it was installed in seconds. The aesthetics of the browser are great, as it ... Read the complete review

I have used several different web browsers, such as Internet explorer and Safari, but have returned to chrome and have remained loyal ever since. The layout of this web browser is simple and effective, you can save all your most regularly websites in the bookmark area and loads them up very quickly. Once you have filled this bar up, you can still use the other bookmark area to save less regularly used websites. The start up of the program is also very quick, and it start by showing you the websites pages that you went on last, very handy to pick up any important browsing that you had to leave. There is a new feature, called incognito browsing ... Read the complete review

The newest of the mainstream internet browsers, Google Chrome has gone head to head with the giants that are Internet explorer (from Microsoft) and Firefox (from Mozilla) and, in the opinion of many, won. This is by no means a small achievement, however it is instantly clear to see its appeal. It is very simplistic and takes very few resources to run meaning pages load quickly with out fuss. It has an integrated download manager and files appear at the bottom of the screen for you to allow rather than sending pop ups which can soon become irritating. There are some features that IE users may miss such as the links bar along the top of the screen, ... Read the complete review

Google Chrome is a new entry into the web browser war and although it's spent a long time in development it's definitely been worth the wait. Installing Google Chrome is very simple and the file size isn't too big. Installation was extremely fast and there is no extra setup needed to get online. Once you boot up Google Chrome for the first time you'll notice it's speed and accessibility. Launching faster than both Firefox and Internet Explorer you are taken right into your Top Sites. This is a customisable page where you can bookmark your favourite sites. Although it's not as nice as Safari 4's panoramic display it still looks great and makes finding your ...
