Chrome - An absolutely fantastic browser, Google are taking over the world! (Google Chrome)

Advantages: Great features, easy to use, easy to install, quick to download.

Disadvantages: Occasional crashes but nothing unusual with the internet!

I have become more and more aggravated by using Internet Explorer as it was constantly crashing and just did not feel like it was using my connection to the best that it could and things were taking forever to load.

I went on to Google and searched for a new browser and of course Google Chrome was the first thing that appeared and so I promptly downloaded it which was very simple and did not take more than a moment or two. I then installed Chrome and was given the option of importing my Internet Explorer settings (favourites, homepage etc) which I did and this took another moment or two but was very prompt.

There are a lot of good features about Google Chrome that first convinced me to download Chrome and here I will talk about the ones that worked best for me and were the most useful.

Suggestions: When you are typing in the website bar it will bring up suggestions for you such as websites you have already visited so when I want to bring up dooyoo I just go www.do and then the suggestion appears and I can hit enter and the site loads up.

Tabs: When you open up a new tab you can see a list of your mostly recently, most commonly used websites and you can just select one of these if that is the site that you require, this is a nice time saver and remembers the most commonly used 9 websites that I've visited recently. Very helpful when trying to get my daily online tasks done! The tabs are very easy to manoeuvre and can be easily manipulated in to any order you like or in to appearing as a new window.

Crash Control: If you are playing Chrome and you get disconnected suddenly or there is a problem with the browser or a site that you visit when you reload Chrome it will give you the option to reload the websites/tabs that you previously had open. This is very useful if you've found a site you've not yet bookmarked or are working on something and don't want to lose the address.

Incognito Mode: If you want to browse a site or several sites and don't want this to be saved to your browsing history then just use this mode temporarily and it will never appear and then you won't have to give away that you've deleted your history as it won't be necessary. I've used this on a couple of occasions recently as I store everything normally (nothing to hide!) but I've been using it to spy on prices on Amazon for other halfs birthday! (He always seems to accidentally stumble across things I've been on before!) so better to be safe than sorry as I want his present to be a complete surprise.

Overall I am a very satisfied customer of Chrome, it's free to download, easy to install and use and I find that it's working out a lot faster than Internet Explorer was before and I'm using the exact same sites.

I am rating this 5/5 as it is a fantastic product with lots of great features to it and is very user friendly.
