Advantages: Easy to use, user friendly and has many great features

From time to time, software is released by major companies and usually end up ineffective and unable to perform the task needed. With a product from a colossal company such as Google, you expect and exceptional product, and that is exactly what you get.

I was skeptical at first, a web browser created by Google. As many know, they are the 'king' site of the internet, but to attempt to release a web browser was beyond my understanding. My first thought was it would be another portal to those annoying advertisements Adwords and other forms of promotional media. The software is clean of this entirely and is a smooth running program.

The program is free and can be easily found on the Google web site by simply searching for 'Chrome'. Installation is a doodle and is done in a matter or minutes.

The program is very simple to use ad has quite a friendly user interface. It allows importing of Favorites and other saved information from other web browsers to make the transition easier. It hold most of the normal features of all the other top web browsers, the ability to bookmark web pages, create tabs to open various pages at once etc. What really makes this program unique is a feature called Incognito. This this activated, all browsing activity is not saved into history or cache, so you can browse at your own leisure and anyone else that uses it will have no idea what sites you were on, unless of course they were standing behind you the whole time!

Another great feature of this software is the 'Paste and Go' and the 'Paste and Search'. Basically, if you copy a URL or words from a document or a portion of text from a website, head up to the URL bar and right-click and these options will appear. It doesn't seem much, but it is a handy feature and saved you from pressing the enter key. The program also has a built in spell checker! Amazing if you are writing reviews or any piece of text on the internet and wish to make sure you don't sound illiterate!

From my own personal experience, I find this to be quite a fast web browser. Since transitioning from FireFox to Google Chrome, I feel web pages are a lot loaded a lot quicker compared to other browsers.

It is definitely a nice piece of software and I am pleased with its performance and reliability.

Summary: Would reacomoned this to anyone! It had made my internet browsing so much better.
