Advantages: Simple, new tabs, great homepage, plays all video, very quick

Google have been constantly expanding and are much more than just a search engine now.

I have always used Firefox but as soon as I tried Google Chrome, I've switched and it's now my default browser. This is for many reasons. The first is the design; Google went with a very simplistic theme and it works very well. What isn't needed is taken out in terms of what you can see. Instead of having tabs that you click on under the URL bar like in Firefox and IE, Chrome has made the tabs part of the page itself.

The main advantage is that Chrome is faster than its competitors and doesn't even have a proper loading bar, as to be honest, it doesn't really need one. When you open Chrome it immediately displays everything in a split second. Firefox and IE take a little time to load and they display a white screen until everything does. You won't have this problem with Chrome.

A great feature is that the homepage consists of your most visited web pages, which are displayed as small thumbnails of the homepages of the sites. So instead of typing in the URL to go on DooYoo, you just click the image. It's brilliant. It also lists your bookmarks on the right hand side on the homepage for easy access.

It's also the most successful browser for watching videos. IE is not great for watching embedded videos, Firefox was better but Chrome seems flawless.

The last small but effective feature is that when you click on a text box, such as where I am writing my review right now, the edge of the box is highlighted. It's a very small addition that surprisingly works better than you'd think.

Overall, it's a fast, easy-to-use, simple web browser and personally I think it's the best one.
