Once upon a time, we snapped on our Kodak Box Brownies, took the film into Boots to be developed and bought a photo album in which to keep our treasured memories. Well. apart from the actual box-brownie, we can still do that. BUT WHY? I have lost many of my treasured pics through water and sun damage, and in some cases, simply old age ( + clumsiness and ineptitude). But I don't have to. Never again. The digital age has arrived and with it, an immediacy, which enables me to cut out that visit to Boots, and the need to purchase a photo album.
