Irfanview is a very useful program when it comes to watch images on your pc, is freeware and this program really miss nothing a pay solution offer.

As a image viewer irfanview can let you watch all the pictures you want, there is no extensions it will miss you can watch jpg, bmp, ani( animate mouse cursor icon) and the list include mane more, basically it will be difficult to find an image you are not able to see with this program.

You will be able to watch flash file, movies and so on with and extension that can be enabled.

You will be able to:

zoom pictures
watch slideshows of the pictures you have in a directory you can capture screenshots
you can resize pictures
set the pictures as wallpaper while you watch them
manipulate images by rotating them, converting to grayscale, flip them, increase color depth and has many other useful use.

It has even the possibility of interfacing with your scanner so you won't need other programs.

The viewer is very similar to acdcee style , you choose a directory and you can watch all the picture in it by simply pushing a button, you can even set the pictures fullscreen and use the keyboard arrows to move from one pictures to the previous/next one.

The best thing about this program is that is totally free, is very easy to install (it comes with google desktop which of course you can refuse to install) and is only a 5 mega file.

Being a freeware solution many times leave some doubt in people mind but let me tell you, this program is really great miss nothing.

It certainly not very useful to manipulate images and has not the options of a photoshop, but for the casual user can really do everything you have to do
