Overview
First of all iTunes is an application made by Apple, It is compatible with both Windows and Mac. It is a music based Application but it has a Store which you can buy Films, Rent films, buy full music albums, Single music tracks (79p each), download podcasts for free, TV programs and games for you iPod. You can sort your media out using the library built into it.


Reliability
The reliability has been great for me, I have never had any problems importing music, Syncing media to my iPod or using the iTunes store. I have never had any freezes or crashes all the time I have been using iTunes which is always good!


Ease of use
iTunes is very easy to use, From a click of the button you can have your whole music library imported into iTunes then you can easily transfer them to you iPod. It has a very easy userface helping newer users getting around the application. Apple even have a 'Tips' section on their website, here is the link for the tips on using iTunes!

Installation
The installation on iTunes takes a while but it is quite a big program so you'd expect this, It is also required to install Quicktime to make iTunes work. That is included in the iTunes download so don't worry, Once you have installed iTunes you can go right into sorting out your media!

Speed
The speed of iTunes all depends on how powerful your PC/Laptop is, I used to have an 8 year old computer with iTunes on and it still ran fast. So don't worry about your computer, Any PC/Laptop will run iTunes but how fast depends how powerful your PC/Laptop is


Variety of Features
The variety of features is great! It has a store called the 'iTunes store' which you can buy films, Music, games, podcasts and TV programmes. It has libraries to store all your music, Films, TV programmes and podcasts in. It also has a great feature called 'Coverflow' this feature enables you to scroll through the cover art of your albums so you can find the right album, It is a very nice touch to iTunes.

Summary: iTunes is a great application for anybody wanting to buy music instantly and sort out there media!
