Advantages: Great features
Disadvantages: Still costs for music
iTunes is a great replacment to windows media player. It is the rival between them both: Apple and Windows.
The look: iTunes has a lot more modern look to it and throught out lookin new and sleek.
The features: iTunes lets you listen to radio using a genre selection and stream it live to your pc, also with iTunes you can flick through the music library like a real CD album with the great graphic effects. Also the new feature looks at your songs and picks out new song that you will like according to what you already listen to. The party shuffle has a 'smart selection' so that it plays songs you like more often.
The music: music can be directly downloaded through iTunes, but it cost around 79p a track. You can cross fade the music upto 12 seconds so you don't get that annoying point of silence between each track.
iTunes can also play movie and can also be linked upto you iPod, which is the main point of the software. It has a very quick sync. with you iPod and you can also buy new games for you iPod from iTunes.
This is great, I don't have an iPod, but I still use iTunes.
Summary: Great software download rather than Windows media
