Advantages: So easy to use

Disadvantages: not installed on all windows pcs

I have a variety of music players on my computer and have been a fan of all of them. I use Windows media, Real Player, Quick time and I tunes.

To download music, I usually use Msn music as it is of a reasonable price.

Today however, I spent a good two hours struggling to burn Cds onto my hard drive..it was frustrating, so I decided to give itunes another go.

When logging on it told me that it needed to be updated (how clever that it knew!) and off it went after I agreed with the update. This took about 6 minutes.

I was then able to add CDs to my library without any worry at all, as I write this review it is happily doing so for me. The settings on itunes are so amazingly simple, I do not understand why I have not used it more before today!

The player is stylish looking, but with an air of simplicity. It looks like it has been designed for someone who likes style, but who does not have the time to mess about with the myriad of settings available, let's face it...we all just want to pop in the CDs and have them added to our library with the minimal amount of fuss!

When the CD has been added to your library it gives you a gentle beep sound, it is so straight forward and needs very little looking after.

If you have a lot of music and want to put it all into one place, I would suggest itunes is the option for you. I will never use other methods again as they were frustrating. Apple have done a brilliant job of designing a player that ticks all the right boxes and gives you time to enjoy the music you own at your leisure.
