So much more than just music (iTunes)

I have had an Ipod for a while, and I have always said how great they are etc, but I only used itunes for the actual transferance of music on my computer to my ipod.

Since I have got both a new ipod and a new computer (as my old one broke), I have done things differently. I have instead of having all the music I have ever know somewhenre on my computer, and on my ipod under names like 'track 6' etc, and by unknown artist, used only cds which I have bought, and downloads from the itunes store.

It is so much easier - and my ipod is easy to navigate through, and all the names are correct and the album pictures are right.

That is the normal bit with itunes, the rest of it is what really makes it fantastic.

Whilst it is obvious that you can buy singles, and albums, and now with the better technology videos and films, there is a huge ammount of free stuff you can get too. And it isnt free becasue nobody would pay for it, it is good, interesting stuff!

For free (and legally) I have downloaded podcasts, from chris moyles, stephen fry, johnathan ross - you can get many more depending on your taste - but I have also found what they describe as podcasts, but are really grouped lectures and seminas. These are fantastic, as they are easy to locate, and are genuinly interesting. Just search for what subject you are interested in, and then in the search results, look in the podcasts and utunes sections, and go mad - its all free!
