Advantages: Cool Cover Flow thing

iTunes, sometimes the most criticised piece of software around but it is good (well in my opinion)#

I've been using iTunes for about 2yrs and have loved it. I can download podcasts easily and import music so that it is organised and all in one place. I can download videos etc... for free from the iTunes store and I can even (if I've got the money) rent or buy movies or entire TV series'. Actually anything and everything media all in one place which is not what WMP can do.
So why do I like it and why do I use it? Well the answer is simple; I can download music simply, easily and cheaply from the iTunes stores saving me from going elsewhere and importing it, as with most online music shops. I can use it to store my entire CD collection and other things besides (if my hard drive allows). I can even subscribe to podcasts that automatically download and are there for me to listen to at any time.
I do all of this and don't even own an iPod at all. I like iTunes because it is simple and does the job very well, yes it loads slower than WMP but I don't care because it does a lot more than WMP plus it seems to get the song info and art right without ruining everything and then getting you to enter the correct info which takes ages.
The added perk also of iTunes, which rapes your CPU capacity, is the Cover Flow which looks great and allows you to view cover art quickly to find the track/album you want quickly and easily.

Overall though I do like iTunes and use it as my default music player as it a lot better than WMP.
