Limewire is one of the best P2P Programs solely based on the fact that is AD/SPY-ware free. When you install it, there isn't going to be a multiple unknown software apps appearing. The draw back of this application is the fact it is programmed completely in JAVA. This make the overall program relatively slow. However, download speed is not a factor for me. I get excellent results. Of course I actually paid the 24.00 USD for the Limewire PRO which i was leary at first. However, I get 99% downloaded on the first time try. I also do not have the dreaded "Connection failures" that the regular had. I connect "Turbo charged all the time", and since I am pro, I get bumped up in lines when connecting to other LimeWire clients. I have witnessed 10 downloads each at 40kb/s+ and maxxing out my cable at 500kb/s

The music player isn't bad either. ALSO this softawre is available in Linux and works very well. I use it on my windows & linux box. if running gentoo linux (emerge limewire)
