Good p2p software (Limewire)

Limewire is a peer-to-peer file sharing program.

The software itself isn't illegal, but when you upload or download copyrighted files such as movies from it, then you are breaking the law.

The software it self comes in two versions, free and paid. I would stick with the free version as it does everything you need.

The search is fast, but can sometimes display irrelevant results because of people tagging spam with real names of songs etc.

You need to be very careful when you are downloading files such as music, movies, documents, exe's etc. because any of them (and many are) can be infected with viruses.

I recommend not to download executable files and to scan all files with www.virustotal.com before you use them.

Also, you should make sure that you sharing permissions are set up correctly and you aren't sharing any files that contain sensitive information, as anyone will be able to download them.
