Disadvantages: the viruses!

Limewire is an easy to use and efficient way of downloading and sharing various files like music for example.

The program is all completely free and is downloadable quickly and conveniently from their website. Once you have downloaded the software, you can type anything into the searchbar and it will seek out the song or other thing that you are after.

Despite some theories about Limewire that I've heard from people lately, apparently its all legal, however not if the music is copywrited or something like that. All you are doing is sharing you music and files with others on the network.

The interesting downside to this program however, is that whenever you search for a file and the program helpfully full quite a few choices up for you, it's incredibly difficult to determine which one has a potentially harmful virus embedded in it.
You have to be very careful when searching for music and make sure you have protection from viruses on your computer! Be safe.
