No longer use it (Limewire)

Advantages: Lot of files shared

Disadvantages: Fake names for files, trojans sent!

This software can be installed on your PC so you can share your own files, music with other users of the program. It is very dangerous and has a massive issue with viruses on the program so you need to be really careful and have a good firewall installed before using the program or else you are risking a big chance of landing a virus from here.

Last month I decided to have a search on here for some downloads and found many people sharing the files.When I clicked on them though my computer automatically recognized them as viruses! Out of 100 links to get it from about 10 were safe while the others were not working at all and some were identified as trojans!

The next thing I did was look for some music and found some Eminem music I wanted to listen to. After downloading the music to my big shock it was not even the right track! Some people actually put fake names on and put different songs just for the sake of wasting your time. I no longer will use Limewire for music after this, there are just too many time wasters and idiots who mess about with the program.

Limewire has no security really if you use it and it affects your computer. Rather use other programs because the amount of fake stuff on Limewire has just gone over the top. You think you are downloading one thing but you be downloading something else HOW GREAT!
