**EDIT: Authorware isn't really designed for websites, but instead is more useful for standalone CD-based training applications. I use Authorware to make educational multimedia applications, and I have to say it is an easy and powerful tool. Authorware has long been popular within the education circle for its ease of authoring courseware and tutorials for schools or university. And the main reason for its popularity is the fact that it takes the burden of learning a programming language off the author shoulder. Instead it captures the concepts of a programming language's in visual form.
