Disadvantages: cost and learning curve

We went from PaintShopPro to FireWorks and what a shock that was! FireWorks has to be one of the best graphics programs you can get, we use it in conjunction with DreamWeaver but if there was anything we couldnt be without, FireWorks is it. Everything from groovy button and backgrounds, to the complete navigation bar, animations, distortions, absolutely amazing text and image effects... you name it, its got it.

The bad side is you cant just jump in and get it right first time, or second or third for that matter, the instruction manual is a definite must. But once you get the hang of it, you are onto a winner. Oh yes , and the price isnt exactly user friendly but its definitely worth it if you are seriously into your graphics.
