MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is a project that has been running since 1997. Basically, it emulates practically all the arcade machines you can remember from when you were a kid. If you’re old like me, and spent any time at all in the arcades, this will suit you down to the ground! MAME is the Ultimate games emulator for the PC and other platforms. It allows you to play all the old arcade machines that you can fondly remember playing at those salty seaside resorts and many many more, using ROMS which contain all the game information from the arcade boards so that the games are more or less identical to their arcade counterparts. I am not going to go on and on about how fantastic Mame is, that has been stated very well many times already and frankly if you are not convinced now you never will be. NOW JUST CONSIDER THIS AS PERVERSE LOGIC.....
