Photosuite 111 Platinum is really only a photograph editor. It does, however, have a whole series of buttons that can tweak and shape your pictures. The cost of this package is just £30 which is right at the opposite end of the scale from packages like Adobe Photoshop (around £500). I have used both of these products and would certainly recommend the cheaper one for home use. There are facilities to import and change pictures from a variety of different sources. Take them from a digital camera or a scanner. You can't draw straight into the open graphics page like you can with more expensive graphics software but you can draw onto paper and scan the ... We bought a copy of Photo Suite III early last year through QVC (shopping channel on cable). We paid 22.28 GBP for it at a (TSV)special price. I have been quite happy with the product for helping us to set up a web page. I had already scanned many photos that I wanted to display on the page, but was not able to manipulate them easily. Photosuite allows for this, straightening, cropping, organising into albums etc However there are many features here that I do not find useful, and some that I feel should have been included in the package Useful Features - cropping of photos - straightening of photos - removing blemishes, red-eye, ... Why pay £45.00 when you can get it for About £25.00. I purchased a copy of Photosuite Platinum Edition a few months ago and have had great fun with it ever since. I first saw it on sale in comets and PC World for £45.00 but one night I happened to be watching the shopping channel QVC on Sky Digital and purchased from them exactly the same product with Videowave 11SE thrown in for about £25.00. You can also get this from there web site WWW.qvcuk.com if you dont have Sky.
