I love internet explorer in (almost) every way, it's highly customisable, fast, really well designed in terms of aesthetics and these days it can do practically everything apart from cooking the breakfast*.

But the one thing the really annoys me about internet explorer is that it's full of bugs. If, like myself, you leave your computer on and unattended for long periods of time - say for instance if you are downloading, you can guarantee that Internet explorer will almost always throw up an error sooner or later.

However, THE most annoying bug in internet explorer has to be the 'Backspace bug', which I have tried to have a rant about to microsoft, but only ever receive automated replies when I send an email: When using a form, particularly forms in web based mail services, when the backspace key tends to be used alot, Internet explorer has a nasty habit of sometimes moving back to the previous web page when you press the backspace key, even when in a text box - this is due to the fact that the backspace key is ordinarily associated with the 'Back' function of the browser. Due to this bug I have lost many a long email as most of the time, pressing the forward button simply generates the messgae 'This web page has expired". Highly annoying!!
