Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 ... much more.

Newest Review: ... check your shares/scores simple it's why your using tabs and not windows. Yes Firefox (and Opera) did it first, but Microsoft moved with the times and got in on the act at last, so lets give credit there. A personal complaint with Firefox is it's a ram hog often building up it's usage to the point where you need to close it, Opera also seems to occasionally have that problem. Chrome takes ... more

Premium Review Microsoft Internet Explorer 7: A much improved Internet Experience by Microsoft (957 words)

One of the oldest Browsers on the market and by far the most widely used, Internet Explorer has in recent years been chastised as old and clunky, a bit beyond it's sell by date and passed by the new boys of the browsing world. Like Microsoft it's self it's been seen as too slow to alter to the changes going on around it's self and had found that things like Firefox and Chrome biting into it's market share as it lazed about thinking it was untouchable. Internet users had started to look elsewhere, why would they stay with a slow and cumbersome beast when they could easily streamline everything and cut out the vast chunks of risk associated with using the ...  Read the complete review

Ah, Internet Explorer where would the world be without you? In a better place... Internet Explorer and Microsoft in general have held up the development of the web for too long. Anyone with any decent knowledge of computers knows that IE is crap and will be using a proper web browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera or even Safari. You can just imagine the panic in the IE offices when someone woke from a 5-year long slumber to find that the browsers mentioned above are were not only creating better features and making the web easier to use, but were also slowly but surely cutting into Microsoft's market share. "What ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Microsoft Internet Explorer 7: Explore the Internet with Internet Explorer (179 words)

Internet Explorer is a internet browser, which is default for Microsoft Windows. It is easy to navigate, and simple to understand. Just enter the website you wish to access into the top bar and it will take you there quite quickly. It boasts lots of features such as favourites, setting a homepage, and tabs. But the thing that makes internet explorer good is the autofill function. I found this extremely useful and made form filling extremely easy!! Whilst Internet Exploer is a great simple and easy to use web browser, the design is rather unappealing, it is boring and bland.. looking very much the same as its previous versions! It is also more prone ...  Read the complete review

I absolutely hate Internet Explorer. As with everything Microsoft you are stuck with it if you choose to have a PC running with Windows. Bundled with every copy and version of Windows this web browser was the bane of my life until I discovered the joys of Mozilla Firefox and subsequently Opera. The latest non-beta version of IE is an improvement on previous versions but there are several things about it that still make alternative browsers far more appealing. Remarkably, a lot of people still seem unaware that there are alternatives to Internet Explorer 7 failing to discern the difference between accessing the Internet and browsing it. For me this is the only reason ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Microsoft Internet Explorer 7: Simple and straightforward, with lots of features (246 words)

Microsoft Internet Explorer is perhaps the most widely used internet browser in the world. And for good reason! There were huge changes between IE6 and IE7, and they were all a step in the right direction. Firstly, IE7 introduced tabs. Tabs are extremely useful, especially to someone like me. They allow you to have several web pages open in just one browser. This is really helpful, as I tend to do a lot of research on the internet - so I can have google in one tab, wikipedia in another, etc etc etc! The entire user interface for IE7 is actually very simple and straightforward. So nothing is hard to find, and you can hide menus/buttons ...  Read the complete review
