Ah, Internet Explorer where would the world be without you?

In a better place...

Internet Explorer and Microsoft in general have held up the development of the web for too long. Anyone with any decent knowledge of computers knows that IE is crap and will be using a proper web browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera or even Safari.

You can just imagine the panic in the IE offices when someone woke from a 5-year long slumber to find that the browsers mentioned above are were not only creating better features and making the web easier to use, but were also slowly but surely cutting into Microsoft's market share.

"What shall we do?" asks the development team in a panic. "Let's copy all the other browsers' best features and claim them to be our own" comes the cry from the back! "Great idea".

Now, the unknowing public can claim Microsoft as their heroes for introducing tabbed browsing. When really their the villains for holding the world of web development back.

Oh yeah, it's pretty unsecure too if you didn't know.
