MSN messenger is a great way of contacting your friends over the internet. It is a free to download instant messaging software, it is a quick and easy download and its very easy to install.

***Interface***
The interface of MSN messenger is very user friendly, it allows you to change your status from online, away, busy, out to lunch and appear offline where you will not be shown as online but you can still contact your friends. It is very easy to add friends to the messenger, there is a button with a plus sign on it which makes it very easy to find and there is also a button in the menu where you can add your contacts. The names of your friends are then shown in the list and you can categorise them into groups if you wish such as school friends etc.

***Main features***
Some of the main features of MSN are it allows you to use a webcam and microphone to interact with your friends. You can show what your listening to on itunes and windows media player using a button which is pretty cool and of course you can chat to your friends using the instant messaging.

I enjoy using MSN messager alot and it is a very user friendly software.
