Windows Live Msn Messenger has had many tweaks and updates and now comes jam packed full of features.

On the windows version of msn you have the abilty to change profile picture so that the person you are speaking to can see your picture. There are preset pictures such as flowers, cars, footballs included or you can use the msn logo green man.

Other features include the option to set your status, pre set statusses included away, in a call, out for lunch and you can also set your msn to appear offline. There is now also the option to write your own status.

The bottom of the msn window offers the user the ability to search msn which can be helpful.

During conversations the user can send files, use emoticons such as smiley faces, sheep and personalised emoticons too. They can also use webcam to interact and even play games.

Scripts are available to change the way in which your name appears. You can change the colour, the text, the background and therefor personalise your msn to your desktop.

There is no limit to how many contacts you can have on your msn list, and you can even have conversations with multiple people at once. If someone gets on your nerves and you no longer want them on your msn list you can block and delete them.
