I have been using Microsoft Messenger for three months now and have found it to be a very useful service. I was referred to it by a friend and at first, I didn't think that i would get much use out of it, but quite the opposite is true. i am a frequent user of msn and I use it for a variety of purposes. MSN in my opinion out-ranks similar services such as Yahoo Messenger or ICQ, and i would recommend it to anyone looking to chat online.

For one thing, it is very useful for keeping tabs with people that I encounter every day. It is very useful if I need to go online to talk to a friend when I have a brief message for and I can simply tell him and then sign off. This is quicker than phoning him up and also more reliable than leaving an email message. MSN allows for easy, interactive conversation between people.

Furthermore, it has allowed me to keep association with people that I no longer meet, yet I don't necessarily want to cut completely out of my life. This allows us a way to keep in touch with minimum effort, and we can keep up to date with what is going on. It is sort of like an online high school reunion, something which we all enjoy having.

Finally, MSN allows us the chance to meet new people - to be referred to people by friends and to communicate ideas with one another. For example, it is ideal for a group of people planning to build a webpage together or set-up a fantasy football league. For MSN allows you to have a number of people involved in the conversation and you can therefore you can have a group of friends talking together online - a facility not available over the phone.

MSN is a very good service which allows communication between various groups of people. I would strongly recommend having it as it allows useful information to be passed between you and your friends and the perfect opportunity to meet new people online.
