Microsoft Office 2000 Professional in general

It really is a matter of how computer literate or not whether you'll find this a good or bad product. All round, Microsfot Ofiice 2000 is very good. It is packed to the brim with features, and all are very easy to use. However, I find that Microsoft are increasingly developing their Office suite to be good for the less computer literate out there. I am a Computer Science student at Swansea University, and use the computer a lot. I have used MS office wares for quite a while and although they are now so huge as to nearly need their own hard drive they do the job. I am impressed with how the different applications intergrate with each other quite seemlessly. You do have to put up with the odd crash as it is not the most stable software, for that you need Lotus. There are also a great deal of plug ins that are availible and you are almost guaranteed that most places will read you files. With this package you get the best word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software all in one. This latest version is even better than the last. Everything is connected to the internet in some way or another. It makes it easy to email a document or spreadsheet directly to a friend or co-worker directly from the program it self. You can also link webpages into the document, so for someone who uses the internet a lot these features are great. The only downside is the price.
