Advantages: Find anything!

Disadvantages: Can be slow sometimes, Too much available!

I don't approve of software piracy.
I do approve of being able to try software before I spend hundreds of pounds on it.

I don't approve of the unauthorised copying of music.
I do approve of being able to hear a few tracks by an artist before shelling out nigh on 20 quid for their CD. Or perhaps easily getting digital copies of tracks that I already own on vinyl.

I don't approve of giving everything away for free.
But I do approve of the open sharing of information and resources that is, after all, the Internet.

Morpheus is a computer program that allows you to share a folder or folders on your computer. Whatever is within those folders becomes available to other Morpheus users to download, directly from your PC.

Similarly, you are able to download files from shared areas of other people's PCs.

At the time of writing, I am logged onto Morpheus with 550,602 other users - that's a whole lotta sharing going on.

You can search for anything; and anything naturally includes audio and video files, images, documents and software.

Morpheus expertly handles the downloading, getting your requested file from multiple users if possible.

Is it wrong to be able to download the latest episodes of friends before they are shown in the UK, or to be able to listen once again to a long-forgotten eighties hit?

Maybe it is, and there are always those that will abuse file sharing systems like this. But I think they're fantastic, and Morpheus is by far the best at the moment.
