Musicmatch Jukebox

Don`t listen to the techie snobs around you, I`ve tried many many mp3 players, and come across many different opinions, after careful consideration though, I always come back to musicmatch. This is the only MP3 player and recorder I have needed on my PC. The quality of playback and recordings is excellent using the Plus version, the key for which I purchased a long time ago. Having lost it when the old PC crashed, I had only to email them and a replacement was sent pronto. No further payments and none of the irritating pop-ups of RealPlayer! I have been using Musicmatch for over a year now and although I have not used all its facilities, for the ones I do use regularly, it is excellent. I have the paid-for "Pro" version and this has now reached version 7. ENCODING I generally use VBR (variable bit rate) encoding at the default setting of 51% (don't ask what that means precisely, but the higher the number, the larger the file so the less the compression and vice-versa). I have used a few other music applications but none were as near as Musicmatch 7.0 The overall feature of this product is you can use it as a jukebox. You can store your mp3 file into it, you can save your playlists from it and you can even burn you own CD's from it. Musicmatch also has plug-in features, so you can download different visulisations (Moving images show up as music is plays). There are basically two camps when it comes to music apps on the PC.
