Advantages: Good Program, Vast Range
Disadvantages: Too Expensive, Miss Leading Adverts, Customer Service
Well guys what can i say....im very very disapointed with napster!
Was orginaly with them around 4 months ago...everything was great until i ran into a few problems heared about credit card issues thus i canceled my subscription.
So i was browsing the net the other day and up comes a little add saying napsters offering a 7 day trial...i hovered my mouse over it ...and thought about it a while and thought hell il give um another go.
So i signs back up...click on paypal as my payment method enter in my details and then up pops napster on my PC and off i go listing to some of my old tunes. GREAT this is all good :D
Then in the bottom of my screen up pops a "Youve got mail" icon. I click it and up comes a nice little email "Thankyou For payment to Napster UK".
Ok now im worried...i didnt send them payment...i signed up for a trial. Well i though prob just a misunderstnading il send the support guys an email and all will be sorted.
So i send them off a email askign whats happened and could i have a refund. So i wait...2 days go by....4 days go by....a week goes by....2 weeks go by....3 weeks go by...still no responce...ok now im worried whats going on, so i send them ANOTHER email asking what there playing at and if i didnt get this sorted id take things further.
4 days later i get a email back of napster...(wow wasnt that prompt?!) so i open up the email and begin to read it out. am i reading this right? surely there not...well would you look at that...there blamming ME for it! And that there not willing to send a refund.
So i send off another nasty letter to them saying that its not good enough...couple of days later i get another one back saying that they cant access my bank account history becuase its private and confidental...DAMN right it is...why the hell would u need to know my personal info of my card when i payed you VIA paypal?!
So i sent off another email and i get one back saying:
"We feel that your questions would be best answered by a conversation with a live customer support agent. Please contact our free Customer Support line at (0)20-7365-1079. Live Customer Support is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM."
So let me get this right....you f**k up the trial, then you f**k up my refund, then you f**k up your support times and you want me to ring you £3/min phone number to america...i mean talk about shooting your self in the foot!
Napster had a reputation and that reputation has now been tarnished. Napster has got some SERIOUS issues with there support and needs to sort it out
Anyone else had any BAD experiances?

Foxy-Lady - 21.12.04 I was just about to buy my hubby a Napster gift voucher for Xmas....now I'm not so sure!
