Nemu64

Nemu64 was released long after the groundbreaking UltraHLE? Can it really compete? Most of the time it can, so why the bad score? Read on. You see, UltraHLE and Nemu64 each set out to do slightly different things. UltraHLE attempts to perfectly emulate a few games, where as Nemu attempts to get as many games working as possible. The result is that UltraHLE is (usually) faster, but it's list of supported games is tiny by comparison (although that might change when the next version is released - fingers crossed). Nemu64 is an excellent emulator for those with a powerful computer that is. I have a Pentium III 733MHz backed by 128MB of SDRAM and running the Nemu64 at it's proper resolution can reproduce the outstanding quality that you can get from the real machine. Downloading the games is a different story though. Games come in all sizes and shapes ranging from a small 5MB file upto 30MB +. So if your going to download these games I would sign upto BT's surftime for £5.99 a month so that your phone bill won't be huge.
