CD burning is a wonderful invention, enabling even the most limited genius to thrust his art and his muse upon an unsuspecting world. Ahead Nero is CD writing software that is growing in popularity. But is it as good as it’s major rival Adaptec? Read on and I’ll give you my view of that. I had always claimed that by using Easy CD by Adaptec and WinOnCD by CEQuadrat, that I would have the most comprehensive burner software, however when I discovered Nero 5.0 I had to eat my words. Initially I was slightly dubious about Nero, given the fact that it demanded that I uninstall DirectCD, a tool I had found very useful (when it didn't have problems with new fangled OSes).
