When I started using Nero I didn’t even know of this additional feature that came actually as a nice surprise. That was even emphasized by my previous use of Adaptec, whose label creation tool was very good. But the favourable impression lasted very short trying to use it. Maximum unflexibility with just a couple of features definetely useless if you want to make any customisation (I’m not speaking of art work). Even the basic utilities are rigid, such as the track listing: you can upload the titles from the compilation, but not organising them any way. Excellent though I find the main package (Nero 5.0), the labelling software that comes with it is pretty awful! Is is called Feurio (or something similar) and at first sight is very nifty. It uses information that you have used to label the CD and its contents as you go along but is so incredibly inflexible that I gave up after about three attempts. As you compile material using Nero, you can give titles etc to each track and to the CD as a whole, but you cannot group tracks together, say for a piece of classical music, and it seems to assume that the same artist is involved in each track which is not really terribly useful!
