I prefer this to IE5 (Netscape Navigator 6.0)

I love the new Netscape6 and I'm very impressed with the general way it looks. Its bright, crisp and very easy to use. There is a very simple tool bar at the top and a side bar that has lots of different links. There's news, search, music, shopping, and loads more. This side bar is quite impressive and its one of the main differences between this and Netscape 4.7.

There are a lot more features than IE has and Netscape is easier to use. I also find it much faster than Microsofts Internet Explorer on my pc. The new skins make the browser more pleasant to look at. You can select whichever you like and change them as often as you like.

Instant messenger is incorporated with the browser so you don't need to download it seperately.

Your bookmarks are already set up with what Netscape consider to be the best of web content. These are quite good.

The download for this browser takes ages. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes (thats on a slow modem though.) It should take about an hour on a 56k.

I have previously only used Explorer but was persuaded by a friend to try this out. It took me about an hour to get used to it and now I can get round the net, save pages, graphics, download and search much faster. If you haven't tried this you should so that you can make a comparison with Explorer.
